Solly March scored two goals in a four-minute span of the second half to help Brighton secure a commanding 4-1 win over Wolverhampton in the English Premier League on Saturday.
The English winger, who had seven league goals last year, added two more to his tally this campaign shortly after halftime. Kaoru Mitoma and Pervis Estupiñan also found the net for Brighton before the break.
March showcased his skills by beating defenders and converting low crosses from 19-year-old summer signing Julio Enciso.
Mitoma’s goal in the 15th minute was a remarkable solo effort, as he evaded three Wolves defenders and floated the ball over goalkeeper Jose Sa.
Hwang Hee-Chan scored a consolation goal for Wolverhampton in the 61st minute with a header from a corner.
This victory marks back-to-back impressive wins for Brighton, who defeated Luton 4-1 in their season opener.
Brighton, coming off their highest-ever final position in English soccer’s top flight last season, also sold promising midfielder Moises Caicedo to Chelsea.
Wolverhampton, on the other hand, lost 1-0 to Manchester United in their previous match.
