Matthew Perry, best known for his role as Chandler Bing on NBC’s popular sitcom “Friends,” has died at the age of 54.
According to law enforcement sources, Perry was found unresponsive in his hot tub at his home. Authorities were called to the scene at 4 P.M.
Perry gained immense success and fame for his portrayal of Chandler Bing in the 1990s hit show “Friends.” He also had a successful career in film, appearing in movies like “The Whole Nine Yards,” “Getting In,” and “17 Again.”
In addition to his acting career, Perry struggled with substance abuse for many years and had not been professionally active since 2017.
