Airbnb has appointed Ron Klain, who previously served as the White House chief of staff for President Biden, as its chief legal officer.
Klain, who was President Biden’s chief of staff during the first two years of his term, has a long history of high-profile positions in government and the private sector. He also served as chief of staff to then-Vice President Biden and Vice President Al Gore, making him the youngest chief of staff to a vice president in American history at 34 years old. Moreover, he held the position of chief legal officer at venture capital firm Revolution, co-founded by AOL founder Steve Case.
Klain‘s new role at Airbnb will commence at the beginning of the year, and he will report directly to Airbnb CEO and co-founder Brian Chesky.
